Donate
Thank you for considering donations to Chosen Reins Ranch. You can donate to the general fund or to a specific fund. Please consider the following options if you prefer to direct your donation to a specific fund. Full and partial sponsorships are accepted.
All of our sessions are free to those in crisis and seeking counseling. We offer 2-hour sessions that include both horsemanship, biblical counseling, and mentoring. At this point, nobody at the ranch is paid. All counseling is done by certified volunteers. If you want to play a part in helping us serve our community this way, you can.
Buy Counseling Supplies (counseling binder, biblical counseling booklets, and books)
We have found that the best model is to counsel an entire family - while one is counseling a teen, the other is counseling the parents or guardians. We provide notebooks and other counseling materials to the families during this process. You can play a part in this!
Help Sponsor a One-Time Project Donation
Help build an air-conditioned counseling room.
Close in the tack room (the humidity is ruining some saddles and other leather tack).
Buy a Counselee a Chosen Reins T-shirt
It is so fun to see a counselee proudly wearing a Chosen Reins t-shirt, especially after graduating from counseling!
Help Sponsor a Horse or Donkey
The average cost of caring for a horse is $250-300 per month each for feed, hoof care, fly sprays, veterinarian needs (teeth floating, worming, vaccines), etc. You can become a monthly animal sponsor by picking your favorite animal and giving monthly for their care (note the animal’s name in the comment box when donating - see the tab Horses to meet the herd).
Help Sponsor Biblical Counseling and Discipleship Training
The most exciting thing is when an adult counselee wants to become a counselor after they find healing through God and his Word. We have several that have done this. The average cost is $750 to fulfill biblical counseling certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). It usually takes 2 years to finish the certification. Also, additional annual costs are incurred for continuing education needs to maintain certification. You can give to help train counselors.
General Fund Donation
General fund contributions would support, but are not limited to:
Emergency veterinarian needs.
Ongoing ranch maintenance needs.
If you want to give to a specific project, please make a note in the comment box when donating. If no note is giving, the money will be applied to the greatest need at the moment.
